I often see students paralyzed with indecision over their college major or choice of career. Studies show that we will reinvent ourselves and change career paths at least 5 times throughout our lifetime. Teens can be encouraged to brave through difficult choices, and continue taking steps on their journey while having faith that their souls will grow over time. |

You don't have to struggle alone!
My own children were intelligent, curious, and lovely. I dedicated my life to helping them grow up strong, educated, and joyful. But they were also really introverted, lacked confidence, and had a host of personal challenges.
One had social anxiety, and the other high functioning autism. Throughout school they experienced bullying, academic struggles, and did not fit in. Time went by very quickly, and as the end of high school approached, neither one had decided on a career path. Their grades were solid, but they were not ready for University. I knew I needed a plan, and fast! Plain and simple, they needed a mentor. Our struggles were:
Ensuring they were set for college was hard because they lacked both motivation and a direction sprinkled with self-confidence. ...breathe... |
Teens need support in the fastest changing world we have ever seen.
During my 20 years of educating students, I have seen the deep need for guidance and encouragement in making life decisions.
Our world is moving fast with technology advances during a time where teens are struggling to become independent from parents. Schools are not equipped to provide the individualized attention that most teens need. With supportive coaching, both of my kids are now at University. I am so proud of how far they have come. When your kids are have coaching buy-in, they will flourish too! |
Studies prove meditation works.
Established as early as 1500 BCE, mediation supports the brain in countless ways.
When I started my own journey toward certification and college coaching I wanted to model strategies for stress management since these practices have been largely lost in consuming content. With several years of experience being a successful teacher and career counselor, I knew I could help other kids build calm confidence and decide on a path full of purpose. |
